The year 2024 was unique for Salman Khan fans as it marked a rare period without a movie release from the superstar. However, the much-anticipated glimpse of Salman’s upcoming film Sikandar finally arrived earlier this week. The teaser, initially scheduled to release on Salman’s birthday, December 27, was postponed to December 28 out of respect for the passing of India’s former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh.
The teaser of Sikandarhas quenched the thirst of Salman Khan’s fans not just in India but across the globe. The 80-second clip showcased Salman in a never-seen-before avatar, brimming with swag, unique mannerisms, and some thrilling action sequences.
Following the overwhelming response to the teaser, the makers of Sikandar are gearing up for a wide-scale release. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Eid 2025, towards the end of March. Reports reveal that the movie will initially release on at least 5000 screens across India in Hindi. Depending on the buzz leading up to its release, this number could see a significant increase.
Sikandar is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by renowned filmmaker A.R. Murugadoss, known for his work in Ghajini. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles.
